Gloria Couture provides an intimate one on one shopping experience. Our goal is to meet the unique needs of each of our clients by working closely with them to produce garments of exquisite high fashion, find the ideal dress off the rack, or to custom tailor a garment to achieve the perfect fit. Custom Made
Whether you come in with a picture from a magazine, a favorite garment from home that you would like to replicate, or simply a vision, we specialize in creating your dream garment from scratch. We create exquisite wedding gowns, mother of the bride & groom gowns, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, prom & party dresses, bat mitzvah dresses, women's suits, pants, blouses, bustiers, boleros, etc. We ask for a minimum of 2 months from the date the order is placed to complete the garment.
Evening Wear
For those who need a special cocktail dress or gown immediately, We carry several retail evening wear brands in store such as, Terani Couture, Primavera Couture, Jovani, Lara, Amelia Couture, Amarra, and Saboroma. These are pieces that come ready made, and can be tailored to suit your specific tastes and preferences. We have a beautiful selection of bat mitzvah, homecoming, quince & sweet 16, prom, wedding, mother of the bride and groom dresses.
Alterations
We provide a full service in expert alterations for men, women, and children. Alteration services range from jean hems to completely reinventing a garment. Our expert staff has extensive experience working with high end designer brands to ensure that the alterations done to these exceptionally fine pieces of clothing look original and unaltered, while achieving a perfect fit.
Haute Couture
Our Process
Each of our custom made garments are lovingly created from scratch. We begin by taking the time to get to know the customer and discuss possible styles. From there we take measurements, choose fabrics, and finalize the design. For the first fitting, we create a unique muslin pattern of the garment, which we then fit to the body and make adjustments to before cutting the fabric. Once the pattern is fitted and finalized we begin working with the fabric. We schedule as many or as few fittings as required until the garment is completed. Since we prefer not to rush the process, we require a minimum of two months time to complete custom made orders.
