Who We Are

Gloria learned the trade of custom clothing design from her father, Miguel Angel Granada, as a child growing up in Colombia. Miguel was an expert tailor who specialized in men's suits. In April of 1975, a few years after moving to the United States, Gloria opened her first small boutique in North Miami, Florida. From there her business grew as she came to make a name for herself among the elite of the South Florida community.

In 1993, Gloria moved Gloria Couture to Bay Harbor Islands, just down the street from the Bal Harbour Shops. Here her reputation for top service and exceptional garment making continued to flourish. Most recently, Gloria Couture moved to its newest location on Biscayne Boulevard in Keystone Plaza in North Miami Beach, FL.

For over 45 years Gloria and her team of expert seamstresses have crafted exquisite gowns, suits, cocktail dresses, and every day fashions, complimenting all styles, sizes, and tastes. Gloria Couture has made custom creations for countless charity events, balls, galas, weddings, beauty pageants, parties, and foreign royalty.

​Today Gloria and her daughter, Joanna, work together in their family business bringing high fashion and style to a worldwide community of clients.
